What is it?

Engineers are responsible for the design, build, testing, and maintenance of infrastructure, machines, and software. It’s an extremely expansive sector containing many disciplines. It is a sector you can take multiple pathways into and really is open to everyone. Studying a more generic engineering course is best for those who are not sure what area of engineering to specialise in yet. You will learn the key skills necessary for engineering and discover the range of different areas you can then specialise in.
