The role will involve the completion of a recognised dental nurse qualification and will ultimately lead to registration as a dental nurse with the General Dental Council. Good communication skills, the ability to work well within a team as well as commitment to the apprenticeship course are essential assets for this role. Duties include preparing instruments, materials and medicaments for dental procedures, carrying out stock control and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout their visit.
